Georgia Regents University Will Soon Become Official

AUGUSTA, Ga. --

Georgia Regents University will soon be official. Augusta State University leaders telling NBC 26 the accrediting agency is expected to formally approve the school next week.

Then in January, the Board of Regents will officially ratify the consolidation of ASU and GHSU, creating Georgia Regents University going forward. Right now, work is underway on the school's new logo, colors and seal leaders are reaching out to students and faculty with a survey to get their input on those items.
